HADDENHAM YOUTH FC UNDER 10’S….THE STORY CONTINUES!

Massive congrats go to every boy who played in the Leicester tournament on July 4th 2015. Unfortunately they did go out in the group stage as they couldn't find that goal that would have sent them through.

Remember HYFC [a village side] were up against some of the best teams from the UK, but they held their own throughout the tournament. HYFC beat Hull 1-0, drew against Bolton and Leicester where a win against either would have sent the boys through to the next round. There were losses against Chester City & Burton Albion.

Well done too Henry Chown who came in and was amazing in goal, and he pulled off the save of the tournament, I think we can all agree. Also HYFC scored goal of the tournament! But no biased there!

Manager Will Dodds said ‘the boys were brilliant and I was very proud of every single one of them’. He continued by thanking the parents for their continuing support for the players, the coaching staff and the club. It is all very much appreciated.
