More HYFC Tournament Success!

Another weekend of tournaments saw HYFC U14’s win at Summertown on the afternoon of Father’s Day with a fascinating game against Oxford Irish FC.

HYFC U14’s had not conceded a goal all through the tournament and it was only a penalty that spoiled that record in the final.

But HYFC were quick to recover from this and managed the game superbly to win 3 – 1.

Another great result for them.

Meanwhile, in Moretonville, HYFC U12’s were enjoying an afternoon of sunshine and showers at another well organised football tournament.

A squad that have reached three cup finals and two tournament finals this season, they were used to the pressures of reaching yet another final on this afternoon.

They played with the smiles and determination expected at the club and ended up winning!

The Chairman said that he was extremely proud of this group of boys after a topsy-turvy season and he can’t wait for the boys to build on the success of this season.
