The first May Bank Holiday begins tournament season with Penn & Tylers being the local one to be at. Teams from Beds, Herts and Middlesex usually attend this event so it gives the boys and girls a bit of variety in who they play.
Some teams get phased by it too as there are a number of teams with Watford Academy players. But the HYFC U11 Colts team didn’t worry about such things!
Some exciting group matches saw them go through to the semi-finals which they won on penalties.
Penalties again in the final, but having a goalie coached by Just4Keepers (the best Goalkeeper Coaching in Buckinghamshire) there was no way HYFC were going to lose! And they didn’t. It was the first HYFC trophy of the 2017 ‘tournament season’, and another for this group of boys. Fantastic stuff!!
