Thame Festival of Football - A Great Weekend for HYFC

Below is the team photo of Haddenham Youth FC Under 9’s who won the Thame Football Tournament after beating the other HYFC team in the Quarter Final along the way.

They won every game and didn’t concede a single goal!

Both HYFC Under 11’s teams got through to their finals - Rangers and Colts respectively. The Rangers unfortunately lost their final on sudden death penalties which was really heart-breaking for the boys. The Colts lost a very tough fought game by a single goal, but both teams did HYFC proud. Finally, HYFC U12’s Colts reached the final - but also lost the dreaded penalty shoot-out. This was a tough blow for the boys as they had also gone through the whole tournament without losing a match or conceding a goal!!
